Screw compressors

A compressor is basically a type of pump that pumps gas, and when it does – compresses it. The purpose of the compressor is to increase the pressure of different gases by reducing and reducing their volume. Compressors are used for various medical, domestic and industrial needs. Buying an air compressor is not a common or everyday occurrence. This is an important purchase and usually relatively high cost, so it is advisable to check the relevant tests and turn to an experienced and reputable company that specializes in the production of compressors – also called compressors.

How does it actually work? First it should be noted that during the operation of the compressor a high pressure is created which causes it to overheat. It is necessary to cool the compressor as otherwise it will be damaged. Therefore about a third of the volume of the compressors contains the masking oil and cools the body of the compressor and its motor. In compressors designed for home cooling, the gas moves in a closed-circuit piping system. From the compressor – the gas comes out in compression at a high temperature (above 120 degrees), passes through an evaporator where the temperature drops (about 50 degrees) and is returned to the compressor by suction in pipes. The result is that the gas cools and from there it is returned to the evaporator.

The different types of compressors of course have different and varied uses, so the first step before buying a compressor is its uniqueness and delineation of its purpose – what tasks and what purposes is the compressor intended to fulfill? Compressors have different and varied volumes. There are industrial compressors as opposed to compressors designed for a person’s private use. Therefore, the questions that the professional should ask are first and foremost for what use is the compressor intended and for what scope of activity – private or industrial?

& nbsp;

For example, a piston compressor – intended for industrial use. Piston compressors are not intended for pharmaceutical or food industries. On the other hand, a dry compressor does not contain lubrication which is actually intended for bodies such as laboratories, dental clinics, food industries and more. In this compressor – the oil does not pass to the air line or to the container, so the air remains dry. Screw compressors are compressors that handle large amounts of air. These are small compressors relative to their air supply, and these are designed for industrial needs. They have an electronic monitor and even a controller that indicates the hours of work of the compressor and the elements that need to be replaced during treatment.
